A special paryers event was organized for the mother of Zaheer Meher, president of Overseas Pakistanis Global Foundation (OPGF) and owner of Apple Autos. Zaheer’s mother passed away in Pakistan recently. A significant number of community members attended the gathering which was held at Al-Madani Mosque in Elmhurst, Queens.
The event included a Khatme Quran, sermons, naat khawani and dua by the mosque’s Khateeb Allama Mufti Abdul Rehman Qamar, Pir Syed Tasawurul Hasan Shah and renowned naat Khawan and Qari Alhaj Syed Sadaqat Ali. The Dua organizers included Sheikh Shakeel, Tahir Mian, Javed Butt, Amir Iqbal, Rana Javed, Saleh Sami, Abdul Rauf Bhali, Tahir Sindhu, Munawar Riaz, Tahira Din and Fauzia Chughtai.
