Pakistani American billionaire Shahid Khan is among a list of 10 richest owners of national Football League franchises, according to a leading American sports website. Khan, whose net worth is 10.8 billion dollars, is the owner of Jacksonville Jaguars. A total of 32 teams compete for a Super Bowl championship each year.
According to the SportsUnfold website, Khan is number 8 in the list of tenn richest NFL teams owners. Khan purchased the Jaguars for a whopping 770 million dollars from Wayne Weaver in 2011. He is the owner of Illinois-based Flex-N-Gate, a car parts manufacturer, that he purchased in 1980. Over 26,000 people work for his company in over 69 locations worldwide.
Rob Walton who purchased the Denver Broncos this year for $4.65 billion, became the richest owner of an NFL team. He is the 18th richest person in the world with a nnet worth of 55.9 billion dollars and owns the retail chain Walmart.
Rob is followed by Jody Allen and The Paul G Allen Trust (net worth 20.3 billion dollars) who owns the Seattle Seahawks. Paul Allen acquired the Seahawks in 1997 for 194 million dollars.
